The passing of years - even centuries - does not negate one syllable of God’s word! 

If it had only been YOU, Christ STILL would’ve died on the cross  to save you. 

The work of the Father is done - the pouring out of His soul, as an offering for sin is accomplished - and redemptive atonement is forevermore! 

Why is it good? Because Christ drank from the cup of God’s wrath - the one that WE, justifiably, should drink from - and He took OUR punishment upon Himself
