Stephen A. Smith agrees to stunning new ESPN deal and gets a massive pay raise.

Smith has reached a new five-year contract with ESPN valued at at least $100 million. This deal ensures that Smith will continue as a prominent figure on  #FirstTake ,  #ESPN ’s flagship morning show, while reducing his other obligations across the network. The move will give him more freedom to expand his political commentary, according to sources.

While Smith will remain a central part of First Take, he will be less visible across the rest of ESPN's programming. Sources, speaking anonymously as the contract details are not expected to be made public, indicated that Smith will no longer be a regular on ESPN’s top NBA pregame show. However, he may still appear occasionally on major basketball studio broadcasts, as well as on Monday Night Football pregame shows or other significant events.

#BREAKING : Colorado hires Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk as running backs coach. 

Legendary NFL running back Marshall Faulk is headed to Boulder, joining Deion Sanders’ staff at Colorado as the team’s new running backs coach, the program announced Thursday night. 

Faulk becomes the third Pro Football Hall of Famer on CU’s coaching staff, alongside Sanders and Warren Sapp. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011 on his first ballot, Faulk enjoyed a stellar career with the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams.
