Progress report to Gent home offices.

Client: some_cartoonist

In terms of gameplay recorded, we are no closer than our last progress report. However, in terms of editing the footage we do have, we are further than ever before.
We have made it through Chapter 2 now, and are just now beginning with the King Widow boss fight. The video’s current runtime is 40 minutes, although there could still be some fat to trim, but we may have to come back for that at some point in the future.
In the original video, I was at chapter 4 by this point, although I’ll chalk this one up to BATDR being a much larger game and with more involved gameplay leaving less room for uninteresting visuals to be trimmed.
People have assured me that they would watch the whole thing, even if it ends up being 2 hours. And with my gut telling me that it may actually end up being shorter than that, I shouldn’t need to divide it into parts.
I will return when I have more to share. 

Update on the Dark Revival video!

Recording gameplay: Probably around 80% done. Just need to do a few things and then fight Shipahoy Wilson, but those few things are expected to take a while.

Editing video: I’ve almost finished with Chapter 1.

This video is probably going to be the longest video I’ll ever make, and I’m nowhere near done, but I think it’ll proooobably be around 2 hours? I wanna say?
But again, I’m nowhere near done and that estimate may not be accurate, but all I do know is it’ll *definitely* be longer than the BATIM video.
It may have to be divided into multiple parts, but it’s too early to say for sure.
I’ll probably just have to aim for 2 hours for now and see where we go from there.
