Hey guys!

Hope your Monday is going well....at least, for a Monday!

I just posted this over on Twitter and then realised I've love to hear some thoughts and ideas over here too:

Smart Home products are still (after all these years 🫠) tricky to navigate and find what will actually work with your existing setup.

So with that in mind, would love to build a shop where it only sells top tier smart products with no BS, so that you can be sure anything you buy will be a great quality device that works well - basically it's a giant catalogue of devices that I would actually personally use!

Which brands should we work with? πŸ‘€

Lot's of people said Shelly of course, which was one I immediately thought of too - so I'm super excited to say that we now stock Shelly products! They've been killing it in the local control and privacy first Smart Home space so were an obvious choice!

Any others you'd like to see? I would love to help support some awesome people/companies that are building great devices for Home Assistant (and others!) users

Hey Everyone!

Hope you are all having a great week and looking forward to the weekend!

Wanted to give a few updates on the Everything Presence Lite and some other little things.

Firstly, thank you so much for the incredible support regarding the Lite, the feedback and reviews have been amazing - it makes me SO happy to see you enjoying them. If you haven't already done so and would like to, reviews help us out massively - thank you again.

Upgraded cases for the Lite: Next, on the launch video of the Lite I asked you guys to let me know if you would be interested in upgrading your original 3D printed cases to the new injection moulded cases so that I could get some numbers and place an order. I want to let you know that those are now available on the website for you to purchase if you want to upgrade your original 3D printed case.

If you have an existing back order for more Lites and you would like to add cases to your order, please drop us an email and we can do that.

Back order for Lite: Stock is arriving tomorrow and we will begin shipping all orders in the order they were placed. Please allow us a few days extra to get all the orders out as there is a large backlog, but we will work to get these out to you ASAP - thank you for your patience.

CO2 sensors back in stock: These are now back in stock and it fits all revisions of the Lite and EP1 - it is snug against the PIR on the older revision of the EP1 but works great!

New ESP32-S3: We also have a new ESP32-S3 board designed which is available on the shop, it has PSRAM on-board for designing a local voice assistant application. It joins our existing ESP32, ESP32-C6 and ESP32-PoE boards:

That's about it, thank you so much once again for the insane support - I truly do have the best community and I'm extremely grateful.

Have a great weekend!

Hey everyone!

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Wanted to let those of you who are interested in CO2 monitoring, that we made a new CO2 add-on module available for Everything Presence One and Lite! This lets you monitor and automated based on Co2 levels in a room - great if you have a small home office (like I do!) that builds up CO2 quickly, and you want Home Assistant to let you know when to open a window!

 https://shop.everythingsmart.io/products/everything-presence-one-lite-co2-add-on

Extremely easy to add to your Everything Presence One or Lite. Please note this is only compatible with Everything Presence One Rev 1.5 (with 8 pin socket) and does not work with earlier revisions of the Everything Presence One - working on a fix soon. Please contact us if you are unsure on fitment!

If you have a pre-order of the Everything Presence One currently and want to add this to your order to save on shipping, drop us a message!

Also sneak peak of our microphone add-on too πŸ‘€

The whole team has been working real hard on the next batch of Everything Presence Lites to get them all packaged, should be complete very soon and back in stock hopefully within the next 1-2 weeks! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

EP1 owners, I just added a new update (v1.1.8) that will hopefully drastically improve the light sensors readings when using the official case with the front cover on. This should help the lower readings some of you have (I hope) - feedback about it welcome over in Discord!

Be aware if you update, you will need to update any baseline figures you are using in automations for when to turn the light on at a certain light level as this update changes the baseline.

If you want to update, you can do that with the ESPHome add-on or from over on the user guide: https://everythingsmarthome.github.io/everything-presence-one/updating.html

Hope this helps! πŸ™πŸ»

Lite users don't worry, I will add it for the Lite soon too!

Here it goes - Everything Presence Pro!

We took the EP1 and added even more features for a more professional install, whilst adding the mmWave sensor choices from the Lite, plus some extra goodies!

This board has the most features of anything we've done so far and we've had lots of requests for it.

Feature set:

* ESP32 based
* Panasonic PIR with 12m range (swappable like before)
* mmWave - takes DFRobot SEN0395 (EP1), HiLink LD2450 (EP Lite), LD2410C and a couple other HiLink ones should be compatible. Swappable like the Lite.
* Light level sensor
* Temp and humidity sensor (being upfront here, the temp sensor here is impacted by board temperature and will get worse when it's placed at the top of a ceiling which is where we expect most people to place it)
* PoE support
* Ethernet for data
* Alarm power - can be powered by alarm panel wiring (9-28v DC)
* Alarm triggering - has an output for triggering an alarm panel if motion is detected from PIR or mmWave, great for bridging a "traditional" alarm into Home Assistant
* Tamper switch which can provide feedback to an alarm panel
* USB-C
* I2c pins exposed
* 1 spare GPIO input only pin (we literally used all the GPIOs on the esp32 except one πŸ˜‚)

This one has been a lot of work and prototyping and excited to see it finally working to the point we are happy with it.

We are undecided on cases and would love if you guys could respond below - should we design a case? Given the different power options this has and different sensors etc, we figured people are going to mount these in a standard enclosures or back boxes (we designed to fit inside a UK back box which it does) and probably wouldn't need our case. But maybe you would?

Please please please give me your feedback!
