Hi friends! Thank you for all the kind comments and messages🫶. I’m happy to report that I am finally healthy again!! Turns out I had a kidney infection :(. It was an awful experience but thankfully Aaron was there to help me through it 💕. Drink some water today!!!! I love you all so much!

Day 1 vs. Day 22 of no skin picking!!!

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me. My skin picking habits are something that have dictated so much of my life and this community made me feel safe enough to talk about my biggest insecurity. I used to avoid leaving the house or interacting with people after picking at my skin but each and every single one of you are the reason that I felt safe enough to talk openly about this online. You seriously saved me and I’m more grateful than I can ever put into words.

I’m going to admit that I did have some moments of weakness and did pick at my skin a handful of times during these 22 days. BUT I was able to stop myself after one pop and walk away which is a HUUUUUGE win!!! Especially after spending a minimum of 1 hour a day for the last 12 years picking at my skin. 

Everyday is a battle and this is the hardest thing I’ve done but I am so happy with my progress!!! I remember on day 4 (which was a really hard day) reading a comment that said “it’s about progress, not perfection. this milestone is HUGE congratulations!” and it’s one that helped me get through the tough times. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have been here. I read every single comment and although I can’t respond to them all, I see them and I am so happy that you’re here❤️
