Over the years I have become extremely frustrated with the attitude of Calgary dog owners, particularly in off-leash areas. Many negative interactions have led me to carry an action camera and an air horn to protect myself and my family. This channel is a record of those interactions. To dog owners: if your dog is running, growling and snapping at myself or my family while we are simply sharing park space, this is not normal or acceptable. It is intimidating and potentially dangerous. And, duh, it is against city bylaws (23M2006) - which means you can be fined. And just because you are in an off-leash area does not mean your dog is allowed to do whatever it wants. You are still responsible. Don't believe me? Click on the links, especially the Responsible pet ownership bylaw. Look under point 13(2) onward. Be good citizens. Your dogs may be family but you have ethical and legal responsibilities to keep them under control. Thank you.
