FROM THIEF TO PARADISE: NEVER LATE TO BE SAVED *I was born on the streets. A thief from the start. Stealing, fighting, living for myself. Never caring for anyone else. Some might say I was a product of my circumstances. Others might call me just evil. Either way, prison was my second home. 🏚️ I remember the first time I saw Jesus. It was the day He entered Jerusalem. The streets were alive, people shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (John 12:13 ). They hailed Him like a king. Some called Him the Messiah. But to me? It was just a show. A parade for fools. I didn’t care. I was locked up again, stuck in a cell with Barabbas — that violent rebel. He was stirring up trouble against Rome, and I was right beside him. Another man fighting for freedom — but just another criminal in my eyes. ⚔️ I wasn’t worried about Jesus. I was trying to survive. I’d heard the rumors. Healed the sick (Matthew 4:24 ). Fed thousands (John 6:9-11). Big deal. None of that would get me out of my cell. Power? It didn’t matter. Miracles? They didn’t change my reality. 💭 Then came that day. The day they decided to release Barabbas. That murderer. That scum. He had caused chaos. And me? Left behind. The crowds shouted for Barabbas, and they condemned Jesus to die. (Matthew 27:20 -21). I hated them for it. I hated the system. I hated myself. They didn’t care about Jesus. He was a threat to them. He was just a man. But He was innocent. Unlike me. Unlike Barabbas. I wasn’t mad when they nailed Jesus to the cross. He deserved it, right? I’d seen Him walk through the streets like He owned them. They mocked Him with a crown of thorns. (John 19:2) King of the Jews, they called Him. I wasn’t fooled. He was just another criminal — just like me. But then… something happened. They nailed Him up beside me. His blood hit the dirt. And I watched. I couldn’t look away. His eyes — full of pain. But there was something else. Peace. He wasn’t cursing. He wasn’t angry. He said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34 ). Forgiveness? For those who nailed Him? For me? I had nothing left. No hope. Just pain. I deserved this. I’d stolen. I’d killed. And now, I was dying. No escape. But then He spoke again. The man to my left — another thief — started mocking. “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” (Luke 23:39 ). At first, I didn’t care. But then, something clicked. I saw Him — Jesus — suffering like me, yet… different. This wasn’t just a man. I remembered the stories. The miracles. The compassion. The power He had. How could I mock Him now? How could I continue to rebel? So I spoke. “Don’t you fear God? We’re getting what we deserve. But this Man has done nothing wrong.” (Luke 23:40 -41). And then I turned to Him. The only thing I could say was this: “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” (Luke 23:42 ). And He looked at me. His eyes. I’ll never forget them. It was like He saw everything — my sin, my shame, my rebellion — and still… He said, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43 ). Paradise. 🌳 I didn’t deserve it. I knew that. I was a thief. A criminal. A failure. But there He was. Offering me something I had long since given up on. Grace. Pure, unearned, undeserved grace. That day, I died. But in death, I found life. The pain? It faded. The suffering? Gone. The fear? Gone. I was with Him. I was saved. 🌟 When I died, I woke up. It was perfect. No chains. No darkness. No fear. Just light. Just peace. Just Jesus. And He was with me. Resting in His goodness. No more past. No more sin. I made it to paradise — by His grace alone. I believed in Him, I turned to Him, and by faith, He saved me. It wasn’t about what I had done, but everything about what He had done for me. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 5:8). Now, I rest in His presence. No weight of sin. No guilt. I am free. I’m with Jesus. In His kingdom. Forever. And every breath I take now is one of eternal peace. 🌈 He turned my death into life. He took my punishment and gave me His forgiveness. And now, every second is a reminder of His incredible grace. Even when I mocked Him. Even when I was a sinner. He chose me. That’s what true love looks like. ❤️ —————— *Fictional unless otherwise stated with a Bible verse

THE KING I REJECTED—AND THE KING WHO SAVED ME I was there. I was among the teachers of Israel, standing with my brothers—the Pharisees, the scribes, the priests—watching the man called Jesus of Nazareth enter Jerusalem. I should have known. I had spent my life memorizing the Scriptures—the words of Moses, the psalms of David, the visions of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and Zechariah. I had read them. I had studied them. And yet, when prophecy unfolded before my very eyes, I was blind. Now, I must tell the world what I saw. And how the One we pierced… was the Lord Himself. ⸻ THE DAY THE KING CAME TO JERUSALEM It was the tenth of Nisan—the day the Passover lambs were selected. 🐑 And here He came, riding not on a warhorse, but on a donkey. 🫏 The people shouted, their voices echoing through the streets: “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel!” (Psalm 118:25-26) But as He rode, I saw His face. And He wept. 😢 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem! If only you had known, even today, the things that would bring you peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.” (Luke 19:41 -42) Hidden. Just as Isaiah had foretold: “He was despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief… We esteemed Him not.” (Isaiah 53:3) And so, though the crowds hailed Him as King, we—the rulers of Israel—hardened our hearts. We would reject Him. And soon, we would kill Him. ⸻ THE ANGEL OF THE LORD—THE GOD WHO WOULD BE PIERCED But what I did not see then, I see clearly now. This was no ordinary prophet. This was no ordinary man. This was the Angel of the Lord—the One who had always been with us. Was it not He who appeared to Abraham under the oaks of Mamre? 🌳 (Genesis 18:1-2) Was it not He who wrestled Jacob until daybreak? 💪 (Genesis 32:24 -30) Was it not He who spoke to Moses in the burning bush? 🔥 (Exodus 3:2-6) Was it not He who led us through the wilderness, a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night? ☁️🔥 (Exodus 13:21 ) And yet, Zechariah had warned us that this Divine Shepherd—the One who had always guided us—would be struck down: “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” says the Lord of Hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered!” (Zechariah 13:7) And worse still, Zechariah had told us that we would pierce Him. “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son.” (Zechariah 12:10 ) We pierced Yahweh Himself. The One who had led us. The One who had saved us. The One who had loved us from the beginning. And we nailed Him to a cross. ⸻ THE DAY WE CRUCIFIED GOD The priests and elders schemed in secret. We bribed one of His own—Judas—to hand Him over. Thirty pieces of silver. 💰 Just as Zechariah had foretold: “So they weighed out for My wages thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said to me, ‘Throw it to the potter’— that princely price they set on Me!” (Zechariah 11:12 -13) We handed Him over to Pilate. We accused Him falsely. We mocked Him as a king, but gave Him a crown of thorns. 🌿🔱 We scourged His back until it was torn like the lambs in the Temple. 🩸 And then we pierced His hands and His feet. ✝️ Just as David had foretold: “They have pierced My hands and My feet. I can count all My bones. They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.” (Psalm 22:16 -18) As He hung there, struggling for breath, we taunted Him: “He saved others; let Him save Himself! If He is the Christ, the Chosen of God!” (Luke 23:35 ) We laughed. But Isaiah had already spoken of this moment: “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter… He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.” (Isaiah 53:7-8) Cut off. Just as Daniel had prophesied: “The Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself.” (Daniel 9:26 ) And at the ninth hour, He cried out: “It is finished!” (John 19:30 ) The sky turned black. ☀️➡️🌑 The earth shook. 🌍⚡ The veil in the Temple tore in two. ⛔🕊️ And suddenly, I knew. We had killed the Holy One of Israel. We had pierced our own God. ⸻ THE DAY HE ROSE I thought the story was over. We all did. But three days later, the tomb was empty. The disciples swore, “We have seen the Lord!” The women declared, “He is risen!” ✨ (Luke 24:6) The guards trembled, “We saw angels!” 👼 (Matthew 28:4) And then… I saw Him. The wounds were still there—the holes in His hands, His side. But He was alive. And in that moment, I remembered Daniel’s vision: “Behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! To Him was given dominion, Glory, and a Kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him!” (Daniel 7:13 -14) I fell to my knees. Just like Thomas, in my heart, I cried, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28 ) ⸻ THE DAY HE WILL RETURN Now, I wait. For He is coming again. But this time, not on a donkey. 🫏 This time, on a white horse. 🏇 “Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him.” (Revelation 1:7) He will judge the nations. 🌍⚖️ He will reign as King forever. 👑 And every knee—even mine—will bow before Him. Come, Lord Jesus. 🙏🔥

🔥 THE ANGEL OF THE LORD: THE GOD WHO WALKED AMONG US 🔥 ⸻ In the days when Israel suffered under Philistine oppression, GOD HIMSELF APPEARED—not in thunder from the heavens, but in the form of a mysterious Man 👀✨. This was no mere angel. This was the ANGEL OF THE LORD—the very PRESENCE of GOD! ⸻ 👩🦰 The Barren Woman SEES GOD! 👀🔥 A nameless woman, chosen by God, sat in sorrow. She and her husband, Manoah, had no children 😞. But one day, as the golden rays of the sun bathed the land, GOD APPEARED. She gasped. Before her stood a Man, yet MORE than a man—His face radiated the glory of heaven 🌟. Then He spoke. His voice thundered with divine authority: “Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son 👶! Now drink no wine 🍷 or strong drink 🥃, and eat nothing unclean 🥩, for behold, you shall conceive and bear a son 👶. No razor shall come upon his head ✂️, for the child shall be a NAZIRITE to God from the womb, and he shall BEGIN to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines!” (Judges 13:3-5) 🔥 This was not an ordinary angel delivering a message—THIS WAS GOD DECLARING A DECREE! 🔥 She ran to her husband. “A MAN OF GOD appeared to me! And HIS APPEARANCE was LIKE the APPEARANCE of the ANGEL OF GOD, VERY AWESOME 😱✨. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name.” (Judges 13:6) She knew. This was not just a prophet, nor a mere angel. She had seen the LORD! 👀🔥 ⸻ 🙏 Manoah Calls on GOD… and GOD RETURNS! 🔥 Manoah, desperate for answers, prayed: “O LORD, please let the MAN OF GOD whom you sent COME AGAIN to us and TEACH US 📖 what we are to do with the child who will be born 👶!” (Judges 13:8) And GOD HEARD HIM. Once again, THE LORD HIMSELF APPEARED—but not to Manoah first. He chose to appear to the woman again. 💡 Why? Because GOD SEES THE UNSEEN. He EXALTS THE LOWLY. And He had chosen her for a divine encounter 💫. She hurried back, pulling her husband behind her. “Are you the Man who spoke to my wife?” Manoah asked breathlessly. 🔥 AND HE SAID, “I AM.” 🔥 (Judges 13:11 ) The words hung in the air. This was no ordinary reply. This was the very NAME of GOD!—“I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14 ). The same “I AM” who spoke from the burning bush 🌿🔥. Manoah shuddered 😨. ⸻ 🤯 The Name TOO WONDERFUL to Speak! 🤯 Still unsure, Manoah asked, “WHAT IS YOUR NAME, so that, when Your words come true, we may honor You?” (Judges 13:17 ) Then came the mysterious yet divine reply: “WHY DO YOU ASK MY NAME, SEEING IT IS WONDERFUL?” ✨🔥 (Judges 13:18 ) 💡 Wonderful. This was the same word later used of the coming Messiah: “For to us a child is born 👶, to us a son is given 🎁; and the government shall be upon His shoulder 👑, and His name shall be called WONDERFUL Counselor 🕊️, MIGHTY GOD ⚡, EVERLASTING FATHER 💖, PRINCE OF PEACE ✨.” (Isaiah 9:6) 🚨 THIS WAS NOT JUST AN ANGEL. THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD—THE PRE-INCARNATE CHRIST! 🚨 ⸻ 🔥🔥 Fire from Heaven—GOD ASCENDS! 🔥🔥 Manoah took a young goat 🐐 and prepared an offering. But something ASTONISHING happened. “So Manoah took the young goat 🐐 with the grain offering 🌾 and offered it on the rock 🪨 TO THE LORD, TO THE ONE WHO WORKS WONDERS ✨, and MANOAH AND HIS WIFE LOOKED ON 👀.” (Judges 13:19 ) 🔥 AS THE FLAMES CONSUMED THE SACRIFICE, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD STEPPED INTO THE FIRE! 🔥 🔥🔥 GOD ENTERED THE SACRIFICE! 🔥🔥 “And when the FLAME 🔥 went up toward HEAVEN 🌤️ from the altar, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD WENT UP IN THE FLAME OF THE ALTAR 🔥⬆️. Now Manoah and his wife were WATCHING 👀, and THEY FELL ON THEIR FACES TO THE GROUND 😱.” (Judges 13:20 ) Manoah and his wife collapsed in terror 😨. “WE SHALL SURELY DIE, FOR WE HAVE SEEN GOD!” (Judges 13:22 ) Not, “we have seen an angel.” WE HAVE SEEN GOD. 😱🔥 They knew. The One they spoke with, the One they offered a sacrifice to, the One who stepped into the fire—THIS WAS GOD HIMSELF. ⸻ 🤔 Who Is the Angel of the LORD? 👀🔥 The Angel of the LORD appeared many times in the Old Testament, always acting as GOD HIMSELF: • 🔥 To Hagar (Genesis 16:7-13) — He made promises only God could make. She called Him El-Roi—“The God Who Sees Me.” 👀 • 🌿 To Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:2-6) — He declared “I AM WHO I AM.” 🗣️🔥 • ⚔️ To Joshua (Joshua 5:13 -15) — He stood as Commander of the LORD’s Army, and Joshua worshiped Him. 🙌 • 👀 To Gideon (Judges 6:11 -24) — He spoke as the LORD and received worship. 🚨 EVERY TIME, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD WAS NOT JUST A MESSENGER—HE WAS GOD! 🚨 And yet… He appeared in human form—just as He would one day be born as Jesus Christ! 👶✨ ⸻ ⬆️🔥 From Manoah’s Fire to Calvary’s Cross ⬆️✝️ Years later, Isaiah would prophesy of a Child who would be called: • WONDERFUL Counselor 🕊️ • MIGHTY GOD ⚡ • EVERLASTING FATHER 💖 • PRINCE OF PEACE 👑 🔥 The same GOD who ASCENDED in the FIRE would DESCEND to become a MAN—to be the FINAL SACRIFICE for our sins. 🔥✝️ The Angel of the LORD was not just an angel. He was the eternal Son, the second Person of the Trinity. He walked among His people before they knew His name. And in time, He would become flesh and dwell among them (John 1:14 ) 👶💫. 🔥 The same GOD who visited Manoah would one day visit Mary! 🔥 And just as He once stepped into the flames, He would one day step onto the cross—the FINAL SACRIFICE, once and for all (Hebrews 10:10 ) ✝️🔥. ⸻ 💖 Final Thought 🔥❤️ Manoah feared that seeing GOD meant death 😱. But in Jesus, seeing GOD means LIFE ✝️✨. “WHY DO YOU ASK MY NAME? IT IS WONDERFUL.” (Judges 13:18 ) 😍🔥

“Wait… Islam Says WHAT About Women?!” 😨 I* used to believe the common narrative: ✅ Islam upholds women’s rights. ✅ Islam was progressive for its time. ✅ Feminism and Islam go hand in hand. I’ve heard it from Western feminists, social justice activists, even from some Muslim women themselves. I assumed critics were just Islamophobes twisting things out of context. But then I did something dangerous… I read the texts myself. 📖 And what I found shocked me to my core. ⸻ “Women Are Deficient in Intelligence”? 🤯 One of the first things that stopped me in my tracks was a hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari: “I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you (women). A cautious, sensible man could be led astray by some of you.” Wait… what?! 😳 The Prophet of Islam said that women are intellectually deficient? That alone was shocking, but the conversation continued: The women asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is deficient in our intelligence and religion?” He replied: “Is not the testimony of a woman equal to half that of a man?” They said, “Yes.” He said: “That is because of the deficiency in her intelligence.” So, according to this, women’s minds are so unreliable that they need two women to equal one man when giving legal testimony. And this isn’t some fringe, out-of-context statement—this directly aligns with the Qur’an itself: “And bring two witnesses from among your men. If two men are not available, then a man and two women… so that if one of the women errs, the other can remind her.” (Qur’an 2:282) So let me get this straight… Islam teaches that women are more prone to error than men, and we need a second woman to help correct our mistakes? How is this “empowering”?! 😡 Christianity’s View on Women’s Intelligence Compare this to the Bible. Does God ever say women are less intelligent? No! In fact, the Bible speaks of wise women time and time again. Women like: • Deborah (Judges 4-5) — A prophetess and judge of Israel, leading both men and women. • Priscilla (Acts 18:26 ) — A teacher of theology, helping correct a male preacher. • The Proverbs 31 Woman — A hardworking, intelligent businesswoman praised for her wisdom. Nowhere does Christianity say a woman’s mind is lesser than a man’s. But in Islam? It’s literally doctrine. ⸻ “Deficient in Religion” Too?! The same hadith says: “And is it not that when she has her menses, she does not pray nor fast?” They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘That is the deficiency in her religion.’” So now, because of biology, women are also religiously inferior? Christianity’s View on Women’s Spirituality Contrast this with Jesus’ attitude toward women: • The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25 -34) — Unlike Islam, where menstruation makes a woman “deficient,” Jesus healed and honored a woman suffering from a menstrual disorder. • Mary Magdalene (John 20:11 -18) — The first witness to Jesus’ resurrection wasn’t a man, but a woman! Her testimony wasn’t considered “half.” It was central to Christianity itself. • Galatians 3:28 — “There is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” In Christianity, women are spiritually equal to men. In Islam? They are inherently deficient. ⸻ Aisha’s Skin Turned Green from Beatings 💔 And then I found something that made me sick. Islam’s most revered woman, Aisha, the wife of Muhammad, was beaten so badly her skin turned green. In Sahih al-Bukhari 5825, it says: “Aisha said that a woman came to her showing a green spot on her skin caused by a beating. Aisha said, ‘I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!’” Wait a minute. If Islam is so pro-women, then why did Aisha—Muhammad’s favorite wife—say that Muslim women suffered more than anyone else?! 😳 To make things worse, instead of condemning the abuse, Muhammad sided with the man who beat her. 🤯 Christianity on Husbands and Wives Compare this with how husbands are commanded to treat their wives in Christianity: • “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25 ) • “In the same way, husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.” (Ephesians 5:28 ) Nowhere does Jesus permit wife-beating. In Islam? It’s not only allowed—it’s normalized. ⸻ Islam Permits Rape of Female Captives in War 💀 If that wasn’t bad enough, I came across Qur’an 4:24 : “And [forbidden to you are] married women, except those your right hands possess…” I didn’t get it at first. Then I found the tafsir (Islamic commentary) explaining this verse: 🔹 “Right hand possesses” = female captives taken in war. 🔹 Even if they were married, their husbands were irrelevant. They could be used by their captors. And there’s more. In Sunan Abu Dawood 2150, Muslim soldiers asked Muhammad if they could rape female captives. He didn’t tell them “No.” Instead, he gave rules for how to do it! This is literally sanctioned sexual slavery. Where are the feminists?! Christianity on Rape and Captives Contrast this with the Bible, where rape is severely condemned: • “But if in the open country a man meets a young woman who is betrothed, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die.” (Deuteronomy 22:25 ) In Christianity, rape is a capital crime. In Islam? It’s justified as part of war. ⸻ No More Excuses—Find the Truth in Jesus I know what Muslim feminists will say: ❌ “But Islam gave women rights in the 7th century!” Okay… and? Does that mean we should ignore the actual text that still places women beneath men? ❌ “But that was just for that time period!” Then why do these laws still apply in Islamic courts today? ❌ “But scholars say this doesn’t mean women are inferior!” Why do I need scholars to tell me what’s clearly written in black and white? The truth is Islam and feminism are incompatible. Feminism teaches equality. Islam explicitly teaches that men are superior. You can’t have both. But you can have Jesus. 🙏 He never called women deficient. He never condoned beating them. He never permitted their enslavement. If you’re searching for a faith that truly values women, look to Christ. He died for you—not to enslave you, but to set you free. ❤️ *A fictional ex-feminist character describing her shock as she reads Islam’s most trusted sources

🔥 The Curse of Canaan: A Prophecy of a Dark Future 🔥 The flood had come and gone. 🌊 The earth was fresh, washed clean of corruption, and Noah—the man who walked with God—planted a vineyard. 🍇 But one night, something happened that would shape the destiny of nations. Noah, in his old age, drank from his vineyard’s wine. 🍷 He became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. His son, Ham, saw his father’s nakedness… but what did that really mean? 📜 According to Leviticus 18:6-8, to “uncover the nakedness” of one’s father means to sleep with his wife. If this interpretation is correct, then Ham’s sin wasn’t just seeing Noah unclothed—it was a wicked act of incest against his own mother. 😨 And the result? Canaan was born from this sin. Noah awoke, and by divine revelation, he understood what had been done. Fury burned within him 🔥—but instead of cursing Ham, he cursed Canaan, Ham’s son: “Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants shall he be to his brothers!” (Genesis 9:25 ) But why Canaan? Why not Ham? 🤔 Because Canaan wasn’t just the product of sin—he would become the father of a cursed lineage. His descendants, the Canaanites, would become the most wicked civilization on earth. Centuries later, they would be known for: ⚠️ Child sacrifice (burning infants alive to Molech) 🔥👶 ⚠️ Dark sorcery and divination 🧙♂️🔮 ⚠️ Temple prostitution and incest 😈 ⚠️ Bestiality and unspeakable abominations 🤮 By the time of Moses and Joshua, God’s judgment on Canaan’s descendants was sealed. Deuteronomy 18:9-12 reveals that their sins were so disgusting that the land itself would “vomit them out.” 🤢🌍 The Israelites were commanded to wipe them out completely, because their evil had reached its peak. This wasn’t just a random curse—it was prophetic justice. Noah, guided by God, saw that Canaan’s descendants would follow in the same perverse footsteps that began with Ham’s act. 💡 What Does This Mean for Us Today? 1️⃣ Generational Sin is REAL ❗️ 👉 Just as Ham’s corruption passed to Canaan, sin patterns can repeat in families. Are there generational sins in your life? 🚨 You don’t have to be bound by them—Jesus broke the curse on the cross (Galatians 3:13 )! ✝️ 2️⃣ God is Patient, But Judgment Will Come ⏳ 👉 The Canaanites had centuries to repent, but they didn’t. God is merciful, but when sin reaches its fullness, judgment is inevitable. ⚖️ The same is true for the world today! 🌍 3️⃣ Purity and Honor Matter to God 💎 👉 The sin that started with sexual perversion led to an entire civilization’s destruction. Are we guarding our purity? In a world drowning in immorality, God calls His people to holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). 📢 Final Warning: Just like in Noah’s time, judgment is coming again—not by water, but by fire (2 Peter 3:7). 🔥 The question is: Will you be on the side of righteousness, or will you follow the path of Canaan? The choice is yours. 🔔 Choose today whom you will serve!

🔥 The Last Words of a King: David Beholds the Glory of the Messiah in Psalm 110 🔥 📖 “Now these are the last words of David. The oracle of David, the son of Jesse, the oracle of the man who was raised on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, the sweet psalmist of Israel: ‘The Spirit of the LORD speaks by me; His word is on my tongue. The God of Israel has spoken; the Rock of Israel has said to me…’” (📖 2 Samuel 23:1-3) The Spirit of the LORD was upon me. His voice stirred my soul, His words burned within me like a fire that could not be contained (📖 Jeremiah 20:9). I, David, the son of Jesse, had seen many battles (📖 1 Samuel 17:45 -47), ruled over many years (📖 2 Samuel 5:4), and penned many psalms (📖 2 Samuel 23:1)—but this night… oh, this night was different. As I sat in the stillness of the evening, I felt His presence, as I had when I stood before Goliath (📖 1 Samuel 17:37 ), as I had in the caves of Adullam (📖 1 Samuel 22:1-2), as I had when the Angel of the LORD encamped around me in the day of trouble (📖 Psalm 34:7). Wait! Who was that Angel? 👀 The One who delivered me? The One who saved me from Saul’s spear (📖 1 Samuel 19:9-10)? The One who answered when I cried out (📖 Psalm 18:6)? Could it be… the LORD Himself? 🔥 The night was thick, but the heavens were open before me. And suddenly, the LORD spoke. I trembled as I heard His words: “The LORD said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool.’” (📖 Psalm 110:1) Wait… what?! 😲 The LORD spoke… to my Lord? I thought there was only one God! (📖 Deuteronomy 6:4) I thought Yahweh alone ruled over all! (📖 Psalm 103:19) But here, before me, I saw another—One seated beside the Ancient of Days, One to whom dominion and power were given (📖 Daniel 7:13 -14), One whom even I called Lord! Who was He? 🤔 I searched the Scriptures. I searched my heart. And then… I saw Him. The Messiah. 👑 Not just my son—but my Lord! (📖 Matthew 22:41 -46) Not just a king—but the King of Kings! (📖 Revelation 19:16 ) The Spirit carried me further, and I wrote: “From the womb, before the morning star, I have begotten You.” (📖 Psalm 110:3 LXX) 🌅☀️ Before the dawn ever broke, before the first star shone in the heavens, He was. Not made. Not created. Begotten. (📖 John 1:1-3, 14) The very Son of God. The Eternal One. My hand trembled. I felt unworthy to write such things, but the Spirit compelled me. There was more. He was not just a King—He was a Priest. “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” (📖 Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 7:17 ) 👀 Melchizedek! The mysterious priest-king of Salem (📖 Genesis 14:18 -20). A priest before the Law. A priest with no beginning and no end. (📖 Hebrews 7:1-3) Could it be that this Lord, my Lord, was not just a king but an eternal priest? One who would offer a sacrifice greater than bulls and goats? (📖 Hebrews 10:10 -12) One whose intercession would never end? (📖 Hebrews 7:25 ) Yes! 🔥 I saw Him ruling, His people arrayed in holiness, shining like the morning dew, willingly offering themselves to Him. (📖 Psalm 110:3) But then the vision changed… ⚔️ Judgment. War. Victory. I saw Him marching forth, striking down kings, shattering nations that stood against Him. (📖 Psalm 110:5-6, Revelation 19:11 -15) The nations raged, but He laughed. (📖 Psalm 2:1-6) He ruled with an iron scepter. He was both the Lamb and the Lion, both Priest and Warrior.
