I’m currently 4 months into the Against the Fall of Night Tour, and it’s been so intense. 

The nerdy music lovers that come out to Sungazer’s shows are the absolute best, and I’m so very grateful to have the opportunity to do this! It’s been immensely inspiring to go out and see the love and passion so many people have for music, and be part of that community. 

Anyway, can’t wait to see you all out there, and remember, it’s all in 4/4.

Ahh, so cool!  ‪@YogevGabay‬  did a video about some tunes off of Sungazer’s most recent record, Against the Fall of Night. I’m super honored that our music got the classic Yogev cutout/marker treatment.

Headed out west to continue Sungazer’s Against the Fall of Night Tour tomorrow! 

 ‪@ShawnCrowder‬  and I will be joined by (Grammy-winner!)  ‪@_buttonmasher‬  on keys and Jared Yee on sax. The band will play lots of notes!

We’re also going to have support from Sirintip from Dec 6-12 and  ‪@EvanMarien‬  x Dana Hawkins as support from Dec 13-20. Both artists are absolutely incredible and also play a lot of notes, so if you enjoy our stuff you’re in for a treat!

I have learned so much more about music touring the past couple years than at any point before then. It has kicked my ass, kept me humble, and kept me hungry. I’m honored to have the opportunity to play with the monstrously talented musicians who have dedicated their time and craft to this music, and can’t wait to share what we have done with you all.

I worked really hard for the past two years or so on Sungazer’s latest record, Against the Fall of Night, and it’s now out! 

Go check it out, we have a lot of great collaborators on it including Plini, Shubh Saran, Jared Yee, Button Masher, Mark Lettieri, Joshua De La Victoria, and more. If you like progressive rock and jazz fusion, I think you’ll dig it! 

More new music from Sungazer! Cool 7 is live wherever you stream your music. It's a fun one in 7 (duh), that features double kick, 8-string chugs, fun synths, ripping guitar, sax, and bass solos (!!!) and all kinds of rhythmic shenanigans.

I'm playing 44 shows this fall, with my band that plays exclusively in 4/4.

Who's coming to all 44 of them? 

Sungazer has a new single out, Against the Fall of Night! Check it out wherever you stream your music, it's a prog 11-tuplet jam with an epic sax solo from Jared Yee. It will be on our upcoming sophomore record (also called Against the Fall of Night) out on September 27.

Lufthansa lost all 8 of our bags on the way to our gig in Belgrade, Serbia 🇷🇸, including my bass ☹️. 

We were only able to recover 5 of them in time for the gig (including the bass, thankfully), which was jussst enough to jerry-rig a show together. Fueled by adrenaline and rakia, our first show in Serbia turned out pretty damn epic! Two encores, lots of clapping, dancing and general nerdery. Thanks to all who came out to rage, it’s an honor to be able to do this.

I vlogged a bit during the meltdown, fingers crossed there is enough footage to cut something together! 

Sungazer has been playing some European summer festivals with  ‪@JoshuaDeLaVictoria‬  and Jared Yee, and we’ve been having an absolute blast. It’s so cool to be able to play weird modern jazz fusion music and have so many people from around the world geek out about this stuff also.
