🎠All Thanks and Super Thanks donations go towards funding our furture productions 🎠🌱 The Cork Shakespeare Company (CSC) is an amateur theatre group that was founded by Father O'Flynn in 1924 in the Shandon Area of Cork City, Ireland. His philosophy was to bring culture to the poor and underprivileged in society and by doing this, he believed that people's lives would be more enriched. The company, run on a voluntary basis, now meets in the Blarney Street Community Centre, Cork City, Ireland. Included among the roll call of actors that have passed through the doors of ‘The Loft’ (as the CSC is also called) are Michael Twomey (Cha and Miah), Edward Mulhare (Devon Miles - Knight Rider US TV Series), Kevin Flood, Joe Lynch (Dinny Byrne - Glenroe) and Paschal Scott (Killnaskully and The Young Offenders). The amateur theatre group is open to all, and they meet mainly on Thursday evenings from 8 PM in the Blarney Street Community Centre, Cork City, Ireland.
