Hello everyone. I'm not doing a Friday Sews today, but I wanted to let you know that I will publish my pattern review for the FibreMood Clover jeans on Monday, March 31, 2025. I will also reveal my  #sewfrugal25  make over on Instagram. If you watch my pattern review, you'll also get a sneak peak of my Sew Frugal make also.

I wanted to share some personal news as well. Some of my viewers have reached out to me because they know that Western North Carolina is getting hit hard again. This time it is wildfires. The fires and the smoke are constantly changing with the winds. I'm a few miles away from the fires but I have friends who live in the evacuation area. Please pray for them. 

Six months ago, we were inundated with rain from Hurricane Helene and wanted it to stop. But now, we need the rain. There's a little rain in the forecast for Sunday and Monday, but I'm not sure if it is going to be enough. So far, this wildfire is 0% contained. We have some wonderful firefighters out there fighting. We are so thankful for them. Please remember them and my neighbors and myself. We appreciate it. 

I'm safe. My family is safe. I want to thank the viewers and my sewing friends who have reached out to check on me. Thank you for your prayers. 
 Hurricane Helene 2024 dropped over 17 inches of rain at my house and brought many communities in WNC even more rain. This is the worst storm I have ever lived through. There was high winds and so much more water. This storm broke records from 1916 and earlier. There's been a lot of flooding, down trees and power lines. 
Our community lost power and all communication (no Internet and no cell phones) for days. Many are still waiting for power and cell phone coverage to return. I am thankful to the linemen and all the crew who has been working tirelessly to help my community and those around me.
Please continue to pray for Western North Carolina and our neighboring states that Helene stormed through. She left so much devastation in her wake. Please pray for those who have lost loved ones. This is the second worst storm to hit the United States. Of course, search and recovery is still in progress. There are still missing people. My heart goes out to everyone.
