The Canmore Theravada Buddhist Community and Monastery is located in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. We have been hosting meditation groups and retreats since 1994. On December 11, 2022 we became a Bhikkhuni Monastery (Buddhist nuns). Our resident nun is Ayya Ahimsa and our trainee nun is Anagarika Sara. We offer live and zoom teachings several times each week.
