Slinging leaf, making deals 

So much chenpi and tea orange content coming 

In the orange groves with Ah Jie, our Chen pi guy! His family has been growing oranges specifically for Chen pi for four generations in Xinhui, the tea orange capital of the world!

We are working to figure out a good way of cooperating on making our own line of tea oranges that are grown organically to European export standards, which means we can sell them anywhere in the world. Also, it means we can at least get some on the non-US shops if the trade war continues.

Today we took a tour of his groves and learned about the organic pest management, so much cool content to share going forward!!!

Tea team is in Xinhui, Guangdong China, tea orange capital of the world! We are working with Brother Jie, a fourth-gen orange farmer, to make our own line of organic tea oranges.

After the event, the owner of the awesome bar - 放羊Funyoung in Beixinqiao - gifted me this amazing fan hand-painted by her family member. The detail is excellent and I can’t wait to come back to this venue and do tea meetups / comedy shows, the beijing scene is finally getting back on its feet after COVID and I am loving to see it

Getting some 2003 Liubao for the private stash. 100g tin cost me about $100 and that is with a very hefty friend discount, but it’s worth it, pretty much impossible to get this kind of tea elsewhere
