Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I finally have a vacation from work and will be heading out on the road with my exploring friend Mike for a few days of non-stop exploring the backroads. There are so many amazing spots we have planned to explore. You won't want to miss it.

I know videos have been a bit slow, but I will have lots to edit after the trip and lots of interesting places to share with you all soon.

Keep an eye out for those new videos coming up, and I just noticed I hit 40k subscribers, so I want to thank you all so much for the amazing support.

Take care and keep exploring!

It has come to my attention that videos are being stolen from my Youtube channel and made into shorts and reuploaded to tiktok with no credit given. All branding and mention of my channel is stripped from the videos.

As a creator, this is frustrating and is not the only time this has happened. It has been ongoing for a couple of years on YouTube where it seems at least once or twice a month I find videos of people using my content.

As this channel is a part-time hobby, you can understand how annoying this would be to constantly battle. This is one of the negatives of creating content. There are others waiting to take advantage and use others' work.

So if you run into any videos outside of my official youtube channel or the occasional clips I post on Instagram, it is not me as I dont upload anywhere else currently.

I just wanted to make you all aware and thank you all for the support.

The tiktok account of the person using my content is 'copsandsecurity'

Take care

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great start to 2024.

No exploring this week due to the extreme cold weather moving in and getting over being sick. I can handle the cold fairly well, but this week is ridiculous, so hopefully, this moves out soon.

I will be staying home and working on some edits and waiting for the weather to improve a bit.

We had a mild winter up till now.
What is the weather like where you are?

Tonight -45c with an almost -60c windchill is in the forecast. Yikes!

Hi everyone I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the amazing support in 2023.
I made this channel just over 4 years ago, and I never really thought back then that I would have so many of you that would enjoy what I create.
It has been a fun few years enjoying this hobby and sharing it all with you.

To all the long-time subscribers and all the new ones, and to everyone who has donated or become a Patreon member, THANK YOU!
I couldn't have done it without all of your support, feedback, and encouragement along the way.

I am currently working on a new video, but it may not be finished and ready until the end of the year or the first part of 2024.
I needed a bit of time this month to slow down, and with my job and the holidays coming up, it seemed like a good time to take a breather.
I will still be editing, planning, and coming up with new ideas for adventures in the upcoming year, so stay tuned.

Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you and your families, and I will see you real soon.

Keep Exploring!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well!

If you haven't checked out my latest video on the backroads, be sure to go check that one out and all the previous episodes if you enjoy what you see.

I am currently working on a new video that is taking some time, but it is slowly getting there. It will be about one of the biggest disasters in Canadian history that some may not be aware of. It will take me some time to put it together, but it is important I try and get the facts and story just right. I will have it out as soon as I can. Hopefully, within the next week or so.

Plans are also in the works for some exciting trips coming up. One of which finally I will be getting back to some international travel.

Also, one last thing. I always enjoy bringing a variety of content relating to exploring and travel, but it is helpful to know what all of you enjoy the most.

What is your favorite type of content on the channel that you look forward to the most?

Hi everyone, I, with my good friend Mike, recently went on a podcast to discuss our trip to the ghost towns of Anyox, Kitsault, and more.

It was a fun time, and Greg, the host of the Chasing Bandos Podcast, is a great guy, and I want to thank him for being interested in the story and inviting us on.

Go over to Instagram and follow Greg @gregabandoned and also my friend Mike @miketheurbanexplorer.

If you want to listen to the podcast we were guests on and many more great episodes from the abandoned and urbex community, be sure to check out Chasing Bandos Podcast @chasingbandospod on Instagram.

You can listen to the episode on Spotify here:

A new short video exploring the backroads with some great locations from a recent trip will be out soon in the next day or 2.

Thank you, everyone, for the support, especially during the times when content has become a bit inconsistent.

Sometimes, the channel has to take a back seat to other things in life as it has during the beginning of this year, but there is always content in the works and planning going on.

If any of you have any suggestions of what you would like to see more of, leave a comment below. I love to hear from you guys.

Thank you

Hi everyone! If any of you are interested, I released a full-length version of my Anyox exploration.

You can now watch the full exploration from beginning to end in a single video for an easier viewing experience, and if you may have missed any of the three parts, now would be a good time to go check it out.

If you are new to the channel, this would be a good video to start with, as it is by far my biggest project and favorite location to date.

I felt it deserved this full, complete version, so I hope you enjoy it.

A couple pieces of additional footage were thrown in, but not much, as 95% of all footage taken at the site was already in the existing videos.

I am planning for some big trips coming up and also continuing to film interesting locations all around closer to home in the meantime.

Take care everyone!

Hi everyone! With the increased auroral activity lately I released a video explaining a bit about what they are and showing some of my best captures over the last couple years. I hope you enjoy!

I am also curious would any of you be interested in a sort of tutorial video where I can explain more about how I plan and film the Aurora? From the apps and info needed to find a good night to film, to the camera settings and everything that I learned to get these captures and my experiences of filming them to help you.

Let me know down below if this would be something you would enjoy.

Over the past number of weeks, I have spent a bit more time around home instead of exploring and helping out as my wife recovers from surgery. She is doing good and everything should be back to normal soon.

So with all of that, taking a bit of a break for myself and working my full-time job my content has slowed down a bit so I just want to thank you all for your patience and understanding until things get back to normal here very soon.

If you are newer to the channel, I have a variety of content that you can go check out in the meantime. There should be a little for everyone to enjoy.

Also, something exciting coming up later this month in February, I along with my good friend Mike are invited onto a podcast with a well-known urban explorer and podcaster. We will discuss abandoned and urbex in Canada along with a focus on our trip to Anyox and Kitsault and talk more of these ghost towns and our adventure there last year.

It should be a fun time chatting about what we love to do and our experiences in this hobby.

I will provide more details once it takes place and is available for all of you to listen to.

I am working on some new videos, some ideas for ones, and planning content for the year. Things should pick back up on the channel soon.

Thank you, everyone!
