Hello there YouTube! Happy to announce that our second child is here! 🤗

Our son “DJ” was born a couple weeks early but is happy and healthy! So far he loves naps and eating, so we already have two things in common. Kimmy is recovering well so far and we’re excited about our new life as a family of 4!

Older sister “CK” is very curious about her younger brother and has already started offering him her toys when he’s upset! She wants to check on him in his bassinet often and has been poking and prodding his head, shoulders, knees and toes 😆


... So. With the monumental life moment out of the way, you may be wondering what this means for upcoming videos. Well, since "DJ" came unexpectedly early, I wasn't able to finish the video I was in the middle of working on that I teased in the last video. ("The Boys" debunk) 

As it stands now, I’ll be taking at least a full month off from making videos so my new family and I can spend time together and establish new routines! We're only a few days in, but DJ and CK have polar opposite sleeping schedules at the moment, so we're basically up around the clock. (Spare me the "sleep when the baby sleeps" thing please - whoever spread that didn't have 2 babies clearly!)

I'll hopefully be able to get back into the swing of work in mid-late March and get back on the video grind. I have a lot planned for this year on this channel, and will be uploading more often when I return!

Hey guys, it's John! Time for my monthly Community post, I guess.

🔴MAIN CHANNEL

In the last update, I mentioned an upcoming fifth Goosebumps video. I'm still working on it at the moment, hoping to have it uploaded this month. Of course, I also said that last month! 😆

I can personally guarantee that there will be two main channel uploads this month, rain or shine! (because I am contractually obligated to two different sponsors... er, I mean - because I am feeling productive and love making videos!!)

🎮GAMING

It's October 1st - which means Halloween starts today, obviously! 🎃 Over on the 2nd channel  ‪@JohnTwolfe‬  I'll be posting a horror game video every day from the 1st through the 31st. In fact, the first one's already up - checking out the newly released zookeeper horror game "Zoochosis"!

Other playthroughs this month include the Silent Hill 2 Remake (starting Oct 8th), the Until Dawn Remake (starting Oct 12th), the A Quiet Place game (starting Oct 17th) and an undisclosed PS2 horror game that I've never played.

We'll be doing a charity stream for Hurricane Helene relief very soon. Charity org and exact date/time TBD, but the wheels are in motion! It will probably be the weekend of the 11th-13th. Stream will be on both YouTube and Twitch. More details coming soon in a future Community post!

For everyone who asks how the family's doing - They are doing very well! Right now, CK is annoyed that I'm writing out this update instead of giving her a snack. But to be fair, she wants a snack roughly 700 times per day.  Kimmy and Baby #2 are doing well. Actually, between the four of us we are constantly running out of snacks. But if snack shortages are the extent of our hardships, then I'd say we're doing spectacular.

Hey guys, it's John! 👋

As some of you who follow me on socials already know, we're expecting our second child in February 2025! Just wanted to share it here, too. We're very excited about it! The birth of our first child was one of the most amazing days of my life, second only to the day my first Conjuring House video hit a million views. Only kidding, ho ho ho! 

We're still 5 months out, but once we have "2 under 2" I'll probably be taking a month off from videos to spend time with family and help my wife with her recovery. If you're curious about the sex of the baby, we're keeping it a secret until the delivery room just like last time! Whether we end up with two girls or a girl and boy, I'll be elated either way.

What a feel-good story.🤗 Anyway, enough of the warm and fuzzies, you're probably wondering about VIDEOS?

Well, for those of you who have watched my first four Goosebumps videos and have been languishing wondering when the next one is coming - you may have even wondered IF there is another one coming - good news, I'm working on it literally right now. It'll be the next video posted! I'm hoping for early next week.

I know the paranormal commentary videos tend to be the favorites, and while I like doing them too, they tend to cover serious subject matter. Researching the history of a location, calling people out for lying about it, blah blah blah - it can get a little exhausting. 😆So doing some goofy fun vids like the Goosebumps series helps break it up a bit! 

As for other vids, I have one more planned before the end of the month. It's not a paranormal commentary per se, but it's a similar theme. I may have to save it for October if it ends up taking longer than expected to make, though! And after that, I will probably try to do another paranormal location "deep dive" like my videos on Bobby Mackey's - I have a location in mind to look into, but feel free to give a recommendation. And no, it's not the Conjuring House 💀

Last note - on the gaming side of things, as I've been doing all year, daily videos are still going up on  ‪@JohnTwolfe‬ . Right now, I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time! I'll also be playing Crow Country and The Casting of Frank Stone shortly. October is going to be a horror game month - 31 days of horror games! 👻So if you're a fan of my older content, hope you enjoy that.

Hey guys, it's John!

In my "Last Update" video, I asked where you would prefer to get updates, and the resounding answer was here on YouTube. So I'm going to start giving (monthly?) update posts on the Community tab!

So as you can see from the pic, I recently got invited to visit YouTube HQ and I had a great time checking it out! I got to meet and talk with a lot of YouTube employees, including my partner manager. Shoutout to Andrew for setting it up! I've never gotten to visit a YouTube office in my 13+ years on the platform and it was a really cool experience. As usual, I'm bad at remembering to take pictures so I don't have much to show off - but just getting to stand next to the YouTube Gaming logo was worth it by itself 😆

I went there just before going to VidCon, which was... well, an "experience" I'll say. Recently, I posted part 1 of my Bobby Mackey's Music World "debunk" and I left everyone on a cliffhanger at the end. So where's part 2?? 💀Well, I'm currently working on it... I was hoping to have it uploaded by now, but I got a little behind on things after the YouTube/VidCon trip. We also celebrated my daughter's 1st birthday this month (!!) and have had a lot of personal obstacles. But all that aside, I'm hoping to get part 2 up some time next week!

For my Revisiting Goosebumps series, I'm also off-and-on working on part 5. I'd be surprised if it was finished by the end of the month, but we'll see what happens.

If you're wondering what's happening on the gaming side of things, I'm currently playing through Shadow of the Erdtree on the second channel, alongside some indie horror games I put off on playing. I have no doubt that some people are finding out about the second channel right now as they're reading this 😭but that's what these Community posts are for, I guess!

Random stuff coming up with no specific date yet - will start planning the next charity stream very soon. Hoping to debut the Albert Wesker cosplay that you all voted on at the last one!
