Tetrachromats can see a number in this Ishihara plate (though not digitally). M'/'L' tetrachromats, with a 4th "yellow" cone type (peak: ~550nm), can distinguish between a red/green "yellow" and a pure yellow, and many more extraordinary hues. Normal trichromats cannot see any number on this plate. My next video will be about how to test for (true-red non-retinal) tetrachromacy and how tests for tetrachromacy should be designed.
