While watching some videos and scrolling away, an old thumbnail appeared that I hadn't seen for a long time. I wrote and recorded it after an incident where a homeless man who was an alcoholic passed away on the streets of Bradford. I knew him through chatting to him and quite enjoyed our interactions. 

I then got to thinking what his last thoughts might have been before his life ebbed away and for some reason, these words just popped into my head and half an hour later, I wrote lyrics for a song called Flame Flickers Away and then wrote down a simple little tab and then just recorded it on my cakewalk studio.

Listening back now I can really tell how uncomfortable I was singing. I'm a reluctant singer anyway and I would say my voice is very average at best and that's putting it kindly. But it made me realise why I started this channel. To feel more comfortable in front of a microphone. To feel more comfortable with my own voice. 

My plan was to recite some articles until I felt more comfortable and more confident in front of a microphone, then shut this channel down because I thought that no-one would find what I had to say interesting. But the channel just grew and grew and then I just felt I had a responsibility to people who had subscribed and I'm immensely proud this channel and what we've achieved so far so thank you for that my friends. ❤️

Something different for today's upload. I got the opportunity to have a conversation with Rejoin the EU's Treasurer Richard Hewison and the Leader Brenden Donnally. Unfortunately Brenden's internet failed on him, so it was just me and Richard in the end. We talked about this general election and how its going so far. 

I recognise it's nothing to do with my usual uploads but it was another opportunity to try and improve on something that is very alien to me and that is interviewing people. Again I did my best at short notice and I know I will have got things wrong so please be gentle with me. 😊

Even though I have chaptered the hour long conversation. What I will also do is I will upload a couple of chapters as I know a full hour will be too long for most of you.
