What OS should I install on my new “server”? It is a 7th gen i5 with a 256GB NVMe and 24gb of ram. Basically old parts I had laying around. Already have a NAS and pro mix cluster. Thinking about stuff I can use this one for. No real use case yet just looking for something cool.

I've revamped my Linux homelab using Ansible and Terraform. Let me know if you have interest in seeing a video going over it!

Since I am now a YouTube partner, my (small) earnings from my videos will be donated to the Linux Foundation to support open source. If you love Linux like I do - watch my videos! It is a direct way for you to support Linux monetarily.

Thank you so much to everyone who has spent their valuable time watching my videos. Thanks to you I've achieved something I never thought I would. It is a great honor to be able to produce videos you enjoy, and this new status of Youtube partner will motivate me to make better videos every time. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and watched my shitty little videos.

Just signed up for a free trial of Crowdstrike. Is there any interest in testing my custom malware against it to see how it measures up?

New video today or tomorrow. I’ve written three powershell scripts, an info stealer, a remote access tool, and a ransomware script. We’re going to test these on a Windows box with Microsoft Defender fully enabled so that I can show you how useless Defender is out of the box. (Educational purposes only, I will not be releasing the code. If you write down the code you see to use on your own I am not responsible. This is meant to inform you of the realistic dangers out there and real methods threat actors use.)
