Join me and my co-hosts, Conner and John, for a 9-day marathon through the early films of Pier Paolo Pasolini. In honor of Passover (April 12-20) we’ll be watching through Criterion’s Pasolini 101 box set, covering his first nine films—each infused with his unique blend of Catholicism, politics, and poetic realism. Pasolini was a director who grappled with religious themes in ways that were both reverent and subversive, making this the perfect time to dive into his work. All nine films are currently streaming on Criterion Channel if you don’t own the box set. At the end of the marathon, the three of us will record a discussion video giving our thoughts on the films and Pasolini as a director.

Heads up, guys! I just picked up two giant Curzon box sets that I've been wanting for a long time, so I thought I'd share. Both the Wim Wenders and Lars Von Trier sets are part of the Spring Sale on Amazon UK, and the Wim Wenders set is part of the Spring Sale on Amazon US. These are the lowest prices I've seen for these. They usually float around $175, so I went ahead and jumped on both of them. I ended up getting Wim Wenders from Amazon US, because it was cheaper than paying international shipping. Lars Von Trier is still worth it though in my opinion. These are region B releases, so don't buy unless you have the ability to play region B discs. I'll add links below, but only the US link is an affiliate link. Today’s finds from CD Warehouse. Both in surprisingly good shape for great prices. Scooby-doo was $17 and Davey Crockett was $15. Crazy to find a Walt Disney Treasures set int he wild.

Hey guys! I'd love to get your input on this. I'm about to make my first Umbrella order. I'm not familiar with a lot of their stuff, but these are the four titles I'm considering. Let me know if you have any Umbrella releases that you love and would recommend. I'll take a look and maybe add some to my order. Thanks!
