2 Grail LEGO Star Wars Banners side by side! ⬇️

These are 2 banners celebrating the 10th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars in 2009 and feature scenes from 2 awesome sets from that year. 

The left banner features Darth Vader with the Death Star as well as set 8017 Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter flying by. 

The right banner features set 8038 The Battle of Endor with Chewy manning the AT-ST plus Han, Leia, and R2-D2 exiting the bunker. The highlight is clearly the large portrait of Wicket on the bottom though.

Both of these banners show the now nostalgic Celebration Darth Vader insignia with the 10 years of 1999-2009. 

When I got into banner collecting and discovered the existence of these 2 from photos online I just had to have them. 

These 2 alone are incredibly rare. In my time collecting I’ve only seen the Darth Vader banner go for sale 2 times (one I bought) and the Battle of Endor banner only one time ever (which is the one I’m showing now).

I’m the only person (that I know of at least) who owns these banners individually and I’m definitely the only one I know who owns the both of these as a pair.

Both of these sets are very nostalgic for me as my Mom got me the Darth Vader TIE Fighter as a kid and my first ever introduction to Star Wars in general was that Battle of Endor level in Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy. My best friend and neighbor invited me over to play it for the first time and that was the level we played. I got the set later on.

I found the Darth Vader one from a bricklink seller and got the Battle of Endor one last week from the goat ​⁠Mattysminifigures on Instagram

These are definitely some of, if not the rarest LEGO items in my collection and by far my favorites!
