Happy New Year!

I just found out there’s an owl living in the sycamore tree outside my living room, and it feels like such a special start to the year. Owls symbolize wisdom and intuition, and sycamores represent strength and renewal—kind of the perfect vibe for 2025.

I also want to take a moment to thank all of you for supporting my channel this past year. Every like, comment, and subscription means so much to me and helps my channel grow. You’ve made this journey so rewarding, and I can’t wait to share more with you this year.

I wanted to share why I haven’t been posting or responding as much. On Monday, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my dog Carly down. She recently started having seizures, signs of vestibular disease, and difficulty walking. She was no longer able to get up on her own. Blood work and an X-ray revealed a large abdominal tumor, likely bleeding and causing anemia. The vet and I worried about a brain tumor as well. I adopted Carly when she was about 7 years old. She had been left in an abandoned house with three other dogs. I feel so lucky to have shared six wonderful years with her.

I need time to heal—just vacuuming up her last bits of fur has been overwhelming. I have about 10 saved videos with her that I’ll be posting, but I may not respond to many comments. Some videos are from the summer and some are more recent. Please give your pets some extra love for me. 💔 

If you've been watching my videos, you know we're in the middle of a huge project: raising our dining room ceilings from 7.5 feet to their original 10-foot height. We have two lights that we really like. At first, we were in love with the black chandelier, but now the gold and white one is growing on us. Which one is your favorite? Our house was built in the 1800s, so we're aiming for a more historic look. 

I’m so excited to reveal my new vacuum cleaner that I recently purchased! Video coming soon! Any guesses? I’ve got her shined up and replaced the light bulb so she’s ready to go. Thank you to everyone who has shown me support and I plan on gradually adding more vacuum cleaners as my channel grows. 💕Have a favorite vacuum cleaner?
