Lately I’ve been really enjoying painting NMM rather than using metallic paints. Which do you prefer?

What kind of painter are YOU?

I've recently been enjoying working on more display level pieces, but with the coming of my first child later this year, I'm planning ahead to do more army painting content. This got me wondering, what kind of painters are you all?

Do you enjoy pouring hours into a single mini and pushing your skills to MAX?
Or do you enjoy painting armies to a standard they look good on the tabletop?
Or do you just hate painting all together and just do it so you're not fielding tides of grey plastic?

Let me know!

Display all the way!

3 DAYS TO GO!

Hope you're all doing well and getting into the festive spirit!

You may have seen on some of my shorts and socials recently that I've had the absolute pleasure to paint the 54mm Earncynn from the Deorgard 2 Cult of Paint Kickstarter.

This model is incredible and I had an awesome time with it. There's still time to sign up to the kickstarter and get yourself a copy.

You can find the kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cultofpaint/deorgard-2

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the box at 10AM on Saturday 21st, so pop them in the comments and I'll answer them all when I'm able!

Something I've been wondering lately: Do you prefer tutorials on how to paint...

Full minis from start to finish (e.g. How to paint Blood Angels)

Painting specific elements of minis (e.g. How to paint marble)

I DID NOT EXPECT THIS!

This weekend we went to Fen Model Show in the beautiful city of Ely, UK.

It's an annual modeling show with an open format competition. The standard of work on display was INCREDIBLE! So many amazing pieces from top painters on show. It was so inspiring.

I took a few bits and peices without any expectations at all, and managed to come away with a bronze in the standard category for my tiny tank diorama! I'm absolutely over the moon and still shocked.

It's really made me want to spend some time working on a piece to make it as good as I possibly can, and I've got a load of ideas floating around in my head.

Great event and great weekend, I highly recommend checking it out next year if you get the chance.
