Dr M. D. Thomas is Founder Director, Institute of Harmony and Peace Studies, New Delhi, and has been committed to education, cross-cultural perspectives, cross-scriptural values, constitutional values, interfaith relations, social ethics, communal harmony, national integration and social wellbeing, for the past over 40 years. He contributes to the above cause through lectures, articles, messages, YouTube video messages, conferences, social interactions, views at TV channels, and the like. Ph.D. in Hindi Literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, on a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural theme ‘Kabeer aur Eesaayee Chintan’, he has to his credit 6 books, some 450 articles, 2 music albums, nearly 1500 lectures at diverse platforms including universities and colleges, over 100 YouTube video messages on diverse multi-religious, literary, regional, national and international themes, along with some 75 TV interviews and views. He is recipient of some 20 awards and honours.
