Disney music is pop music. But how did The House of Mouse become a hit machine?  ‪@maha.albadrawi‬  finds out. 

While the story of Disney's core animators - the "Nine Old Men" - is well known, the meticulous work of hundreds of women is less celebrated. 

In this video essay Queline Meadows ( @kikikrazed ) champions the achievements of the women who, through artistic skill and technical innovation, helped form the foundations of Disney animation. 

From the creative minds behind Hamilton and Crazy Rich Asians, IN THE HEIGHTS tells the story of a community in New York's Washington Heights, where the streets are made of music and little dreams become big. 

Entertainment reporter Lucy Ford is joined by director Jon M Chu, creator Lin Manuel Miranda and cast members Anthony Ramos, Melissa Barrera, Leslie Grace, Corey Hawkins, Olga Merediz, Jimmy Smits and Gregory Dias.
