The most gutsy and original collegiate a cappella group today. The Stanford Fleet Street Singers are a comedy a cappella group from Stanford, California. Founded in 1981, we had our start singing Stanford fight songs and barbershop songs, the style which gave us our name. Since 1988, we've focused on our all-original music and skits. In the past, we've won a number of awards, including Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards and National Collegiate A Cappella Awards. We've performed on TV shows like NBC’s “Today Show” and in performances from LA to the Lincoln Center in New York City. In 2004, we produced the first all-original college a cappella album: All songs were written by the performing group. Deke Sharon, considered the father of modern a cappella, called the self-titled album “the most important collegiate a cappella album to be released in a decade.” But we can't speak for our audience; we'll let you decide. Have a look around!
