The final version of "Solution for the Left? Gramsci, Mouffe and Laclau on Hegemony" is now out for EUR 6+ backers!🤩

With some improvements and rewrites imported back from the Polish version, and at a respectable 1:27h length, the complete Hegemony video is now available in early access! The public version got sadly hit with a demonetization, and will come out once we manage to resolve it. So in a few days? Fingers crossed🤞

In the meantime, if you'd like to see it now (and ad-free), consider becoming a backer on Patreon – link in the pinned comment!↙↙↙

We're back, baby!😁

New video is now out for EUR 6+ backers🤩 Hot 1h20m of political theory on cultural hegemony, where we leave Antonio Gramsci in the dust on our poststructuralist trip with Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. This one's a little different, because it's been written first in English and now is undergoing Polish translation, so that we can premiere them both at the same time – which is going to take a while. (We are SO not offering any deadlines here, given our track records of keeping them.)

So all of our lovely backers can enjoy it wayyy earlier then the public version. You can join them via the link in the pinned comment, and if you're already one of them, then you have our absolute undying gratitude for supporting us though this difficult time🥰 And those of you that can't support us, can finally give a sigh of relief: new stuff is on the horizon🍿

The preview of our new video is now available for EUR 6 backers🤩 Today we discuss something different, as we'll spend a whole 45-minute class wondering what it means if things don't really exist... inside themselves and why so many people don't get this and then go blame postmodernism or something🤔

The preview of our new video - a quick (but not short!) response to the latest Kurzgesagt vid is now available for 6 EUR backers🤩 We discuss how they failed to address what both us and The Hated One pointed out, we talk about how they use (and sometimes abuse) science and storytelling, and finally take a few shots at their longtermism videos. Public version coming soon! Links below:

Yes, we're still alive! And with us, a preview version of an audio-only episode: Solarpunk literature: problems, lenses and foundations, which is now available for EUR 6+ backers on Patreon! In this unusual shared episode, we discuss common problems with solarpunk literature. And also we look at the Nebula-winning solarpunk novella "A Psalm for the Wild-Built" to see whether it's possible for humans to live in harmony with nature (spoiler: sort... of? it's complicated, and hippies were wrong), discuss good and bad dualisms, how we humans need a solid chunk of a humble pie... And in the second half, we introduce our friend: activist and solarpunk Paweł Ngei, who tells us the best solarpunk story never written, how hieroglyphs got us to the Moon, why Wikipedia is wayy more punk then cyberpunk can ever hope to be – and why we don't have the tools to see that. Oh, and we dogpile on Marvel movies for good measure! Public version is coming in a few days.

We had the absolute pleasure of appearing in ‪@Andrewism‬ 's new video on degrowth!🤩 If you liked any of our previous videos, it's required viewing, especially that it's done with his signature heartfelt style. It's great seeing degrowth introduced by more and more people. Link in the comments!
