BRCC ELK CAMP 2024 - HAPPY HUNTING

So lucky to have the opportunity to spend time with men like this. What an incredible week. Really tears down who you are makes you question if you are good at anything.

The volunteers on the ground in Western North Carolina are some of the most selfless and skilled individuals you’ll ever meet and some of their faces can’t even be shown. The pilots, with their incredible expertise and own aircraft, have been flying into remote areas that are otherwise unreachable, delivering vital supplies and evacuating those in need. These men and women are true professionals, navigating dangerous skies and landing in tough conditions to get help where it’s needed most. It’s not just about dropping supplies—they’re building lifelines to communities that have been cut off by the devastation.

On the ground, the four-wheel-drive overland teams are tackling treacherous, inaccessible roads, getting into places where no standard vehicle could reach. These folks are relentless, hauling gear and supplies into areas that have been completely isolated since the hurricane hit. And at the donation processing centers, these unsung heroes are sorting, organizing, and packing relief materials, making sure every piece of aid gets where it’s needed. It’s a massive, coordinated effort, and it’s all powered by the selfless dedication of these volunteers who are giving everything they have to help their fellow Americans.

The glamour life of the dumb and motivated…
surrounded by baby formula, infant diapers, and drinking water. We’re gonna call it a night and start again when the sun comes up.

Thank you @saveourallies for all you do.

Wrapped up last week with a pretty awesome day. Testing next-generation ammunition, hanging out with amazing people, and working my butt off.

In one week I had the opportunity to jump into Normandy for D-Day, reenlist with the Chief of the Army, compete with a multi-time world champion in shooting, fighting, and fitness, and get to humbled by my son on the ice rink.
