UPDATE!  The Halibut purse idea turned into a very time consuming but very awesome Halibut wallet!  All Julia had to do was carefully skin the halibut, scrape the tissue side, rinse and scrub clean, tan with egg yolks, rinse and scrub clean again, work it soft while drying, design a wallet to utilize such a thin and unique leather, build it, redesign it, rebuild it and....... it's done!
